Drawing Eye Level Perspective with Two Vanishing Points

Here, you will learn to draw perspective drawings with two vanishing points with an eye-level view.

Before you begin, make sure to have three different colors available. That makes the drawing much easier to understand after you’re done. Even though the instructions are long, don’t lose heart!

Instructions For Eye-Level Perspective with Two Vanishing Points

1.: Draw the horizon line (Color A) and mark two points that you call $F_{1}$ and $F_{2}$ .
2.: Draw two lines from $F_{1}$ , up and to the right, like you’re drawing a fan. You can decide the distance between the lines yourself (Color B). Call these lines 1 and 2, with 1 being above 2.
3.: Draw two lines from $F_{1}$ , down and to the right, like you’re drawing a fan. You can decide the distance between the lines yourself (Color B). Call these lines 3 and 4, with 3 being above 4.
4.: Draw two lines from $F_{2}$ , up and to the left, like you’re drawing a fan. You can decide the distance between the lines yourself (Color B). Call these lines 5 and 6, with 5 being above 6.
5.: Draw two lines from $F_{2}$ , down and to the left, like you’re drawing a fan. You can decide the distance between the lines yourself (Color B). Call these lines 7 and 8, with 7 being above 8.
6.: Find the intersection between Line 1 and Line 5, and the intersection between Line 2 and Line 6. Draw a line through both intersections (Color C).
7.: Find the intersection between Line 3 and Line 7, and the intersection between Line 4 and Line 8. Draw a line through both intersections (Color C).
8.: Find the intersection between Line 1 and Line 6, and the intersection between Line 4 and Line 7. Draw a line through both intersections (Color C).
9.: Find the intersection between Line 1 and Line 5, and the intersection between Line 4 and Line 8. Draw a line through both intersections (Color C).
10.: Find the intersection between Line 2 and Line 6, and the intersection between Line 3 and Line 7. Draw a line through both intersections (Color C).
11.: Find the intersection between Line 2 and Line 5, and the intersection between Line 3 and Line 8. Draw a line through both intersections (Color C).
12.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(1, 5)$ and $(2, 5)$ .
13.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(1, 5)$ and $(1, 6)$ .
14.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(1, 6)$ and $(2, 6)$ .
15.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(2, 6)$ and $(2, 5)$ .
16.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(3, 7)$ and $(3, 8)$ .
17.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(3, 7)$ and $(4, 7)$ .
18.: Draw a line between the intersections of $(4, 7)$ and $(4, 8)$ .
